Currently a third year student at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Mohali. I am pursuing mathematics as my major.
My academic background in mathematics and physics includes proficiency in the following subjects,
Mathematics : Linear algebra, group theory, ring theory, representation theory, analysis, calculus, elementary number theory, probability and combinatorics.
Physics : Newtonian mechanics, Lagrangian and Hamiltonian mechanics, electricity and magnetism, classical field theory, waves and optics, thermodynamics and quantum physics.
Other Technical Expertise : Python and $\LaTeX$.
I am presently working (online) under the supervision of Dr. Anna Pachol on understanding quantum groups and their applications in physics. I learned about Hopf algebras, Lie algebras and their role in physics.
I worked under the supervision of Dr. Supreet Saini on a project in mathematical biology, where I modelled long term evolution of a microbial system by simulating mathematical models on python. I learned about the workings of a cheater cooperator system, and how to model mutations using python. Modelled how fixed mutations in the system cause changes to the equilibrium of the system. I am continuing my summer internship from Summer 2024 via online mode.
